Let’s make September count!!!!
September is here, and with it comes the final stretch before the midterm election. In every election, we hear the phrase, “This is the most important election of our lifetime.” For Maryland, this election truly is that important. We may never recover from the consequences if we do not elect Dan Cox as our governor.
Every phone call, every door knock, and every conversation matter. Our individual voices are strong, but when we work together, they are unstoppable.
This month let’s commit to showing up for meetings, rallies, campaign activities, and signing up to work the polls. Let’s encourage our friends, neighbors, and families to do the same. The future we want for our children and grandchildren depends on the work we do today.
As a gardener, I know September’s harvest rewards months of planting, tending, and care. Political victories are no different: they grow from steady, committed work. Now is our time to come together, focus on voter outreach, support our Republican candidates, welcome new members, and prepare for a busy fall and the year ahead.
You may be thinking, “What can I do to make a difference in the upcoming elections?”
The answer is simple: Get involved. Every effort matters.
• Work for our Republican candidates on the ballot. Everything you do helps RWWC and our candidates.
• Get our candidates’ names and messages out to your friends, family, and neighbors.
• Walk neighborhoods and knock on doors. Make phone calls. Talk with friends. Click or write a donation. Wave a sign or display one at your home. Volunteer to represent RWWC at the Early Voting tent.
• Volunteer at the Worcester County Republican Central Committee store/headquarters.
• When someone shares a concern, be prepared to tell them which candidate you believe will address that issue.
• Repeat our candidates’ names often so that when ballots arrive, voters recognize them.
• Offer to help your neighbors return or deliver their ballots.
• Offer to drive a friend or neighbor to the polls.
Just as a successful harvest requires many seeds, political success requires many individual efforts. No contribution is too small. A phone call, conversation, or door knock can make a difference. Showing up makes a difference.
I’m proud to stand beside each of you as we work for the values we share: freedom, faith, and opportunity. Let’s sow the seeds of truth, nurture them with faithful work, and reap a future of freedom.
Please stay safe, healthy & vote Republican!
Jennie Allen
