President’s Message January
I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed Christmas and a joyous beginning to the New Year. I pray that each of us has a happy and healthy 2023.
On the political front we are optimistic that the Republican party will start the process of getting our country back on the right track. It was certainly an unnerving week in Washington, DC as House Republicans bickered back and forth about who would be Speaker of the House. Finally, they came together and they can now start the work of the people in finding solutions to the many issues plaguing our country.
This week the Maryland General Assembly convenes. Let us all keep our State Senator and Delegates in our prayers as they begin this difficult legislative session. You can monitor legislation at the website: https://mgaleg.maryland.gov
I would be remiss in my duties, if I did not mention with great sorrow, the passing of Gloria Moyer. She was a kind and gracious woman, a loyal member of RWWC who served on the Board for many years and she edited our award-winning newsletter. She was a good friend and will be missed by many. We have been blessed to have known her.
We are looking forward to a productive and exciting year as we continue to promote Republican values and supporting our Republican officials. God bless each of you in the new year and God Bless the USA!
